Asian Inspired Marinade

Excellent With Maui Ribs (Korean Ribs)

Ingredients:

  • Maui Ribs

  • 3 garlic chopped cloves
  • 1 tsp freshly chopped ginger
  • 1 medium shallot
  • 2 green onions (half for marinade and half for garnish)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soya sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Directions:

    We use this marinade on both regular Maui Ribs and Wagyu x Maui Ribs and it was DELICIOUS! Start by thawing your Ribs in a sink of cool or room temperature water. They should thaw in about 1/2 hour and be ready to add to your marinade.

    Simply mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.

    Use a Ziploc Freezer bag and place your Ribs inside. Add the marinade and place in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours. You can also leave it over night

    Pop these beauties on the BBQ for only 2 - 4 minutes per side. They can be cooked anywhere from Medium to Well-Done, depending on your personal preference.

    Plate the Maui Ribs and sprinkle the remaining green onions on top. Pair with a side of Rice and Steamed Broccoli. Easy, quick and nutritious! Enjoy!
